I finally got around to taking some pictures of our finished master bathroom though the coloring seems a bit off in some of them and I couldn’t get it to correct (sorry!). The term master bathroom might seem a bit aggressive given that it’s the same exact size as our guest bathroom but it does have the advantage of being attached to the master bedroom so I guess we’ll have to let that go. Here is the very yellow before and much anticipated after –
A few weeks ago I posted a few of my favorite things about the new room. There was a peak inside the cabinet which you can now see was hung directly above the toilet. Having only a large mirror above the sink and then the cabinet to the right turned out to have the unexpected benefit of making it easier for two people to be in there at once since no one’s trying to open the cabinet while the other person’s trying to look in the mirror attached to the front. I wish I could say that was by design but it was just a happy little surprise. In what seems to be a common theme, I’m not entirely convinced I like everything the way it is right now. I was trying to add some texture with the shower curtain but I’m not sure I got it right….

Looks really lovely Jacs. I can’t wait to leave my wet towel on your new pretty bathroom floor. It’ll be just like old times. And then maybe I’ll leave my blow dryer behind. You know…
Well, you’ll likely be using the other bathroom but you can still leave your towel on the floor if you’d like. We’re pretty low key here at Hotel Sabs. Speaking of things left behind though….I came across a pair of sunglasses recently that are definitely not mine. Should we presume they’re yours and I’ll mail them to you?
